The Quadra Centre can provide accommodations, ground transportation, food and meeting facilities as required. Administrative support is offered to assist in travel and other meeting logistics.

Once you have decided which location best suits your meeting needs and the booking is confirmed, we want to do our utmost to make sure traveling to the location is a smooth, simple experience. Listed below are the many travel options with links to the websites.
For group travel, to minimize problems and simplify logistics, you may wish to consider chartering a flight if you are traveling by air, or renting a van if coming by land or on the ferry.
Getting to Quadra Island
Location: 1725 Hyacinthe Bay Road, Quadra Island BC
By air - scheduled flights:
Vancouver (YVR South Terminal) to Campbell River Airport (YBL): Pacific Coastal
Ground Transportationfrom the airport (YBL) to the BC Ferry Terminal - Campbell River is available via airport shuttle, taxi or car rental.
International or Central Canada flights to Comox Valley Airport (YQQ)
Ground Transportation from the airport (YQQ) to the BC Ferry Terminal - Campbell River is available via taxi or car rental.
By air - chartered flights:
Vancouver (Harbour or YVR South Terminal) to Campbell River, Tyee Spit:
*Flights direct to Quadra Island may be possible by special arrangement
From Seattle to Campbell River, Tyee Spit:

Travel by Road/Ferry:
West Vancouver/Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo Departure Bay: BC Ferries
Bus transport from Nanaimo to BC Ferry Terminal - Campbell River. (Service may not be on your schedule, so car is advised)
Reservations recommended to avoid sailing waits, particularly in summer.
Tsawwassen to Nanaimo Duke Point: BC Ferries (if travelling from US or southern mainland)

Campbell River-Quadra Island Ferry
If you have arranged for a pick-up at the BC Ferry terminal - Quathiaski Cove on Quadra Island, walking on to the ferry is recommended.
This route does not take reservations! For vehicle traffic, it is recommended to plan ahead and anticipate sailing delays, particularly in the summer.
There is no public transport and no reliable taxi service on Quadra Island, so again we recommend a car or van rental (depending on the size of your group) or private vehicles. The nearest rental car pick-up/drop-off location is National at Campbell River Airport.
