  • review of surface-based methodologies and training programs: access to resources
  • cross-border planning of mentorship and training programs for kelp monitoring
  • implementation and training of subtidal SCUBA monitoring methods with communities and organizations (e.g. ReefCheck)
  • review of participative research projects, e.g. comparative experimental/assays (e.g. predation/grazing metrics)
  • collaborative kelp art project to draw attention to changing kelp forests in this region
  • co-design a collaborative kelp art project to draw attention to changing kelp forests in this region
