The 50 Watersheds Project is kicking off with an inaugural technical workshop, hosted by Nanwakolas Council and Hakai Institute. This two-day gathering will bring together the core science team and Indigenous partners on Quadra Island.
Our overarching objectives for the workshop are to:
Offer a comprehensive overview of our project's goals, timelines, and collaborative partnerships.
Foster discussions and exchange of information based on our cumulative findings to date.
Fine-tune our research plan, including the formulation of research questions and the refinement of our study design
