Putting the Oceans on a Pathway to Net-Zero in Canada
UBC’s Institute for the Oceans and Fisheries and School of Public Policy and Global Affairs and Tula Foundation’s Ocean Decade Collaborative Center for the Northeast Pacific and Quadra Center for Coastal Dialogue are hosting a workshop to develop scientific and policy recommendations to help Canada better incorporate the oceans and ocean economic sectors in climate planning and policy both domestically and internationally.
Putting Canada’s Ocean Economy on the Path to Net Zero will take place virtually, using the Zoom platform on June 22 and 23rd 2022, from 9:30-12:30 PST each day.
Participants will be sent a detailed agenda, list of participants and preparatory materials to frame the conversation via email in advance of the workshops.
