Northeast Pacific Biodiversity Action Network

The Tula Foundation’s Hakai Institute, Ocean Decade Collaborative Center for the NE Pacific and the Quadra Center for Coastal Dialogue would like to invite your participation in a first hybrid meeting of the NEPac BAN project Steering Committee, to be hosted in person at the Hakai Institute’s Victoria office (1010 Langley Street), with virtual options available for those who are unable to attend in person. This meeting is intended to help us all get to know one another, as well as make some key decisions about how we will continue to work together to co-design and advance this project in the coming years.

Workshop sessions:  9:30am -12:30 pm (Pacific Time) on July 20 and 21, 2022

Those in person will also be invited to optional Network activities in the afternoon (including a potential field trip) and social gatherings.

The detailed agendas, zoom link for hybrid participants, and other details will be provided in advance of the meeting.

To confirm your participation, whether in person or virtually, please contact matt.whalen@hakai.org if you have not done so already. I've included some folks on this email who have already said they cannot attend to keep everyone in the loop.

We look forward to seeing you in July. We are especially excited because our proposal for the NE Pacific Biodiversity Action Network was recently endorsed by the UN!
