In 2023, the UVic Spectral Lab co-hosted the Kelp Mappers meeting with the Hakai Institute both online and in Victoria, BC.
The main goal of this meeting was twofold:
- to share updates by members of this community of practice on the state-of-the-art in kelp mapping by geography and
- discuss the next steps, goals, and objectives for this community of practice in the coming year.
